Why is it that our culture fears ‘regret’ like the plague? Its what teaches us value, its our conscience telling us we could, and can, make better choices. It’s also often the precursor to maturity. Regret now, while you have the chance to lament, and respond.

Daniel: I don’t have money for you.
Police Officer: That’s going to be a R1000.00 Ticket, have a nice evening.
…living in the moment is not some hippie, new agey concept, it is also neither a rebellious notion, nor is it a careless one. It certainly is not about being ambivalent to the past or the future, rather it is about being true to what is relevant right here, right now…that includes being true to the relevance of your past right now…and also how what you do right now affects you in the future, but at the end of the day, it is responding to what is happening right here, right now.
